How should we write an effective press-kit?

3 votes

We're looking to get some positive press and spread the word of Chuwe through mainstream channels. A question on hackernews put it pretty well: "How do you get your press?"

But we'd like to get some more personal feedback. For those of you who know Chuwe, how should we pitch our services? What should we include in our standard press-kit about Chuwe? Once we've written a compelling introduction, how should we disseminate the information?

Of course, with an increase in small-business and entrepreneurship, we could position ourselves as the new go-to for immediate answers to difficult questions, which could go well with many articles.

We've never done this before, so any tips, guidelines, and suggestions are very much appreciated - especially those tailored to Chuwe! Thanks!
